M: Actually I haven’t seen her for three years. But this will be her first time on a college campus;
she is still in high school. So she’ll probably enjoy anything on campus.
W: Well, there is a music festival that day. That’s a possibility.
M: OK. I’ll drop her off at your place on the way to work, around eight. Anyway I really appreciate
your help.
W: No problem.

Rules for effective studying
Good morning, everyone. Today, I’m going to talk about the rules for effective studying. Rule
number one is to organize your time. When organizing your time, be sure to include details of when
to study, what to study, and how long to spend studying each subject.
The second rule is to review regularly. Studies have proved that reviewing is effective because
people tend to forget experiences very quickly. If you study a certain theory only once, there is less
chance that you’ll remember it than if you study it ten times.
