I hope this letter finds you well. Knowing your strong enthusiasm for Chinese tea culture,
I’m writing to share with you the related news about a tea culture exhibition.
As scheduled, the exhibition will commence at the cultural center next weekend, running for
ten days, during which time a variety of teas from different regions of China will be on display
and the importance of tea in Chinese culture will be highlighted. Additionally, there will be talks
about the history and tradition of tea drinking and even a tea ceremony demonstration.

Two weeks later on the election, Ms. Pond annouced, “Now, we have two candidates with the
same votes.” “So what should we do? Minutes later, there came a conclusion that they each should
deliver a five-minute speech about how to bring classmates a wonderful school year. Since Ahmad
and Olivia both had a good preparation, they nodded, beaming with confidence. After “Rock,
Paper and Scissors,” Olivia first walked to the front of the class, cleared her throat and began to
share her ideas of making a good president. “All in all, my advantage lies in hard work and rich
experience of serving all. Please vote for me.” Olivia ended her speech with those motivating
words, accompanied by thunderous applause. Then came Ahmad’s turn.
Ahmad went to the front of the room to begin his speeck after Olivia. “As a good president in
Grade Four, Olivia, indeed devoted her talent to making our class a hard-working and positive
group.” Ahmad said proudly. Meanwhile, he stated that if hoping to enjoy a better school year,
besides diligence, the class should also have something innovative, helping all to be better ones.
I’ll prepare a suggestion box to keep in touch with your needs. I’ll organize activities to foster
your abilities, like doing some charity, learning the planet etc.” Those fresh ideas inspired all the
classmates, winning a roar of cheerful approval. The final exciting moment brought the result that
Ahmad was chosen as fifth-grade president .
