专题 13 There be 句型

一、there be 句型的概念

There be 句型表示“在某地存在某物(某人) ”。

二、there be 句型的结构

1. 肯定句：There is/are+主语+地点。如：

There is (be) a pen on the desk. 桌子上有一支钢笔。

There are(be) some sheep on the hill. 山上有一些羊。

2. 否定句：There is/are+not +主语+地点。如：

There aren’t any apples on the desk. 桌子上没有苹果。

3. 一般疑问句：Is/Are +there +主语+地点？

肯定回答：Yes, there is/are.

否定回答：No, there+ isn’t/aren’t.如：

例：There are some sheep on the hill. 山上有一些绵羊。(改为一般疑问句并作回答)

—Are there any sheep on the hill? 在山上有一些绵羊吗？

—Yes, there are. 是的，有。

—No, there aren’t. 不，没有。

三、there be 句型的就近原则

There be 句型中的主语为并列二个或二个以上的名词时，be 动词的形式与最接近它的第一个名词的数保

持一致（即：就近原则）。如：

There is a bed, a desk and two chairs in my bedroom.

在我的房间里面有一张床、一张桌子和两张椅子。

There are two chairs, a bed and a desk in my bedroom.

在我的房间里面有两张椅子、一张床和一张桌子。

四、there be 句型与 have/has 的区别

There be 和have/has 都可以表示“有”的意思，但 have/has 表示的是“所属”的“有”，可翻译为“某人拥有

某物”，而 there be 结构则表示的是“某地存在有某物(某人) 。如：

There is a football under the tree. 在树下有一个足球。

Tom has a new toy car. 汤姆有一个新的玩具车。

五、some 与 any 的用法区别

some 与any 都表示“一些”，后面既可以加可数名词也可以加不可数名词。some 常用于肯定句和表示提

出请求的疑问句中，any 常用于疑问句和否定句。如：

There are some books on the desk. 桌子上有一些书。

There aren’t any books on the desk. （改为否定句）

Are there any books on the desk? （改为一般疑问句）

温馨提示：Would you like…?的句型是属于表示请求的句型。所以要用 some 来表示一些。如：Would you

like some tea? 你想要喝一些茶吗？

词复数，也可修饰不可数名词，此处容易受到 some 的影响而错填 are，要谨记，there be 中be 动词的形式

由名词的形式决定。

4. ________ there any maps on the wall?

【答案】are

【解析】there be 句型的主语为后面的复数名词 maps，故此处填 are。

5. How many sheep________ there on the hill?

【答案】are

【解析】there be 句型的主语为 sheep，sheep“绵羊”是单复数同形的单词，因为 many 后面跟名词复数，

故判断此处的 sheep 为复数形式，故此处填 are。
