二．知识解析

考点一　不定代词

　　一、普通的不定代词

不定代词是不明确代指某个人、某一事物、某些人、某些事物的代词 ,它们起名词或形容词的作用。常

考的易混不定代词有很多,常见的有以下几组:

1.表示数量的词或短语

many 修饰可数名词,意为“许多,大量”,many+可数名词复数

much 修饰不可数名词,意为“许多,大量”,much+不可数名词

a lot of/

lots of

意为“许多,大量”,既可修饰可数名词,也可修饰不可数名词,例:a lot of trees/water

some

意为“一些”,既可修饰可数名词,也可修饰不可数名词,多用在肯定句中。例:She came up with

some good ideas to solve the problems.

any

意为“一些,任一”,既可修饰可数名词,也可修饰不可数名词,多用于否定句和疑问句中。

例:There are not any fruits in the fridge. Do you have any plans for your holidays?

few 修饰可数名词,表否定意义,意为“不多,很少”。few chances 没有什么机会

a few 修饰可数名词,表肯定意义,意为“几个,一些”。a few friends 几个朋友

little 修饰不可数名词,表否定意义,意为“几乎没有”。little milk 没有什么牛奶

a little 修饰不可数名词,表肯定意义,意为“少量,一些”。a little water 一点水

　　注意:

(1)some 常用于肯定句中。当疑问句中表达说话者诚心诚意的邀请或希望得到对方肯定的回答时 ,要用

some,不用 any。

例:Would you like some more rice?你还想再吃些饭吗?

(2)any 常用于否定句和疑问句,有时用于肯定句中表示强调,意为“任何”。

例:If you have any questions,send me an email.如果你有任何问题,给我发一个电子邮件。

The question is so easy, any student can answer it.这个问题如此简单,任何学生都会回答。

(3)few、little 表示否定意义,注意在反意疑问句中,附加问句用肯定形式。

例:We have little time, do we?我们没什么时间了,是吗?

(前面 little 为否定意义,后面用 do we?)

意义及用法数量范围

either 表示“两者中的任何一个”,可以和 or 搭配(实质:二选一) =2

neither 表示“两者都不”,可以和 nor 搭配(实质:两个都不要) =2

both 表示“两者都”,可以和 and 搭配 =2

all 表示“都”,适用于三者或三者以上的人或物 ≥3

none 表示“都不”,适用于三者或三者以上的人或物 ≥3

　　3.every(作限定词),each

侧重点

each 强调个体;every 强调整体。两者都和可数名词的单数搭配。each 和“every+名词”作主语时,

谓语动词要用单数形式。each 可与 of 短语连用

适用范围

each 适用于两个或两个以上的人或物;every 适用于三个或三个以上的人或物

例:each side of paper 纸的两面

不定代词意义用法说明

other

另外的,

另一些

可作定语,常与复数名词连用;常用短语:some....other...一些……另一些……;any

other+单数名词,意为“其他任何一个”。

例:Some students are running, other students are playing basketball.

一些学生在跑步,另一些学生在打篮球。(可能还有别的学生在做跑步、打篮球之

外的事)

She draws better than any other student in her class.

她画画比她班上其他任何一个学生都好。

the other

两者中的

另一个

常与 one 连用,构成“one...the other...”,表示“两个中的一个和另一个”;作定语修

饰复数名词时,表示“其余的全部”

例:I have two good friends, one is in Class One, the other is in Class Two.

我有两个好朋友,一个在一班,另一个在二班。

I have three apples, one is red, the other two apples are green.

我有三个苹果,一个是红色的,另外两个是绿色的。
