Shanghai, China
Shanghai Disneyland—the second Disney theme park in China, opened on June 16, 2016. The ticket to the park is
370 yuan. But on the holidays and weekends it is 499 yuan. The new park has a very big
castle(城堡) and one of the largest lakes, too. There are also new special things to see for Chinese visitors. One of
them is called the “Garden of Twelve Friends”. It uses the 12 animals of the Chinese

The four-year wait is over. Rio de Janeiro, the second largest city(城市) in Brazil, will host the 31st Summer
Olympic Games. The city is getting ready after it became the host city of the Olympics in 2009. From August 5 to
21, around 10,500 players from 206 countries will arrive to compete. They will try to bring one of the 306 gold
medals(金牌) home.

Once there were two mice. They were friends. One mouse lived in the country; the other mouse lived in the
city(城市). After many years, the Country mouse saw the City mouse, he said, “Do come and see me at my house in
the country.” So the City mouse went. The City mouse said, “This food is not good, and your house is not good. Why
do you live in a hole(洞) in the field? You should come and live in the city. You would live in a nice house made of
