1.形容词和副词的比较级不规则变化（good/ well, bad 等）。

第一部分：词汇精讲

1. make v. 使;促使;迫使

E.g. My mother made me take care of my little sister. 我母亲让我照看我的妹妹。

(1) make+n.+adj. 使某人/物变得怎么样（形容词）

We try our best to make our country more beautiful. 我们尽力使我们的国家变得更美丽。

(2）make+动词原形，表示“让某人做某事”。

Bad stories always made me cry. 伤感的故事总是让我流泪。

2. though conj. 虽然,即使,纵然

E.g. You can be happy though you may be poor. 尽管穷,你是能够快乐的。

Though it rained heavily, he came to school on time. 尽管暴雨，他还是按时到学校了。

1)同义词:although

Although he is more outgoing than you, you are smarter than him.尽管他比你外向，可是你比他聪明。

【拓展】区别 though, although, but 三者的用法：

①but 不能与 though 和although 同时出现;

②but 引导的句子只能放在后面,而though, although 引导的句子可以放在前面,也可以放在后面。

Although he is not rich himself, he often helps the old man.

He often helps the old man, although he is not rich himself. 尽管他很穷，但他经常帮助老人。

He is not rich himself, but he often helps the old man. 虽然他很穷，但是他经常帮助老人。

3. care v 对…在意对...计较

I don’t really care what happens ,我真的不乎发生什么。

I don’t care that we are different .我不在乎我们不同。

【拓展】

(1)care about 关心，在乎

She does not care about her husband at all. 她根本不关心她的丈夫。

Don't you care about this country’s future? 难道你不为国家前途担忧吗?

I don’t care about money. 我不看重钱。

(2)care for 意为“照顾，照料；想要；喜欢”

例如：

Would you care for some more tea? 想再喝点茶吗?

The mother cared for the sick child day and night. 母亲日夜照料着生病的孩子。

I don’t care for riding on a bike very much; I’d rather go on foot.我不太喜欢骑自行车, 宁愿步行。

(3)take care 小心，当心

Take care not to drop it .当心别掉了。

(4)take care of =look after 照顾
