【手脑并用】
1．But one year ago, she couldn’t do it at all .但是在一年前，她根本不会放风筝。
could 是 can 的过去式，其否定形式为 couldn’t. 如，
Jim s wim when he eight. 吉姆八岁的时候就会游泳了。
I ride a bike when I ten. 我十岁时不会骑自行车。
注意：问句中当表示请求或者询问时，could 比can 更加客气。

2. When she was five, she could dance just a little. 但是当她五岁时，她仅会跳一点舞。
When 意思为 “当… ….的时候”，连接副词，引导时间状语从句，放在主句前面时，用逗
号与主句分开；放在主句后时，不用逗号与主句分开，
He swim he was ve ry young. 他很小时就会游泳了。
3. They both like playing ball games. 他们两个都喜欢球类运动。
“Both” 两者都 作 they 的同位语，放在 实义动词前，be 动词后面。 如，
We are 我们两个都是学生。
They table tennis.他们俩都喜欢乒乓球
(1)“both”两者都，强调 两；“ all ”强调 三者 及三者以上。如，
My parents .我的父母都是中国人。
My friends the park yesterday.我的朋友昨天都去了公园。
(2)当连接两个并列成分时，both 常与 and 搭配，构成“both …….and”意思为 “ 谁 （什
么）和谁 （什么）都…….”
He can speak Japanese English.
他日语和英语都会说。
