Microchip Hunters is a group of volunteers committed to research on dead-end microchips and rabies

microchiphelp.com. Any information provided to us from you is kept secret. This includes any
information gained through tracking the microchip.
How Can We Help?
Our team of online detectives can help locate owners when your staff/volunteers may be too busy to
do further research, continue calling back, or when chips or tag information seem to be unable to help
in reaching a family. This helps increase your Return-to-Home rate and create goodwill in your
community

•No response or answers to texts, phone calls or letters •ID and rabies tags with outdated info

Microchip Hunters works with several shelters, police stations, vet offices, and the largest for Illinois
being Chicago Animal Care & Control, Last year, the Illinois team received 560 cases! We reached
families of 423 of the 560 cases (75.5%), and that included those microchips that had no owner
information to be found! Though we had our share of owners say they were going to reclaim their pets
but did not, we were still able to reunite 269 dogs and cats (49%).
