Public Notice Illinois. com (PNI) was first launched in August 2008 as a central repository (存储库) for all public
notices in Illinois. It was redesigned and relaunched in 2011 with updated functionality and search capabilities.

WHAT IS PNI

WHY PUBLIC NOTICES
Public notices are a critical part of proven legal process where notification of actions or pending (待处理的)
actions by units of local government, or the courts, are provided to citizens and taxpayers. They are required to be
published in local newspapers, which serve as an independent third-party in this legal process— only objectively
convey information but do not involve any party.
Email notification option for those who routinely search public notices, need to save search criteria, print
multiple notices at the same time, or receive automatic search results daily.
PLEASE NOTE
Every state in our nation, including Illinois, has laws that regulate the manner in which public notices are
published. These laws are designed to ensure that people within a community receive important information about
the actions of their government. Local newspapers remain the preferred venue to distribute public notices. This
website is funded and maintained by Illinois newspapers, the trusted source for all community news and
