Dear Sir/ Madam,

I'm Li Hua, a student from China. I'm writing to ask you for help in saving South

China Tigers.

Their population is dropping at an alarming rate as their living spaces are becoming

smaller and smaller due to the cutting of trees. Also, they are being hunted illegally for their

valuable fur, skin and bones.

Personally, some efforts can be made to help rescue the endangered tigers. Above all,

We should raise people's awareness by turning to the social media for help. We can put out

enough information on the website to stir up people's interest in saving the tigers. We can

also post some pictures to remind people of their serious situations. What's more,

governments of different countries must play a part. It would be a good idea if they could

help pass laws to stop people hunting and buying tiger products. Only when buying stops

will the hunting be stopped completely. More importantly, they can start national protection

programmes, where nature reserves are set up to place the endangered species and

volunteers are gathered to watch over them. If possible, the government can also train the

tigers outside the reserve so that they can one day all return to the wild.

animals for their benefit and for the benefit of us all.

Lily had butterflies in her stomach as she stepped onto the big stage. Excitement and

nervousness ran through her body, disturbing yet inspiring her. Seeing Shanda smiling

brightly in the audience, she calmed down a bit. Determination to succeed convinced her

that she couldn't give up. With the dance music on, she danced to it in harmony, showing

that she hadn't spent a year in vain. To her surprise, she danced with heart and soul,

standing out from all the participants. She finally won the championship ，and the whole

audience applauded warmly.

Lily felt very excited when the hostess asked her to make a speech. With the gold medal

in hand, she said loudly, “I owe my success to Shanda. She taught me better dance

movements and techniques. More importantly ，she taught me the true love of dance. It

struck me what Shanda said about dance—dance for dance itself, to get away from all your

With happy tears running down her cheeks, she rushed down to Shanda, giving her a big
