Winners of Golden Rooster Awards(金鸡奖) announced
Sports movie Leap became the biggest winner at the 33rd edition of Golden Rooster, which announced awards
in November 2020 in the city of Xiamen, East China’s Fujian province.
Directed by Peter Chan and starring Gong Li—one of the best actresses in China, the movie about the Chinese
women’s volleyball team won the titles of the best film, best cinematography(摄影) and best screenplay.
Huang Xiaoming and Yin Xiaotian won the best actor and the best supporting actor, respectively, for their
performances in The Bravest, a disaster film focusing on firemen.
Zhou Dongyu walked away with the best actress title for her role as a victim of school bullying in Better Days,
