accompanying me.

agreed to accompany me there. In the following hours, we had so much fun. Your
point of view gave me a new prospective and I gained valuable insights, which made
me have a better knowledge of the opera house.

范文赏读:One day, however,Mary came with good news. She told Jane the school
music festival was to be held the next month and that her classmates all expected her
to sing on behalf of their class."Really?" Jane exclaimed with excitement but
immediately with her head drooping(with 复合结构)，she murmured，"I'm afraid
I’m not competent in it." Perceiving her hesitation and lack of confidence(现在分词
短语作时间状语)，Mary and I said some encouraging words and persuaded her to
sign up for it. In the following month, Jane engaged herself wholeheartedly in
practicing singing, beautiful songs echoing in our house again. Under Mary's
guidance, she made rapid progress and her confidence was also building up. Days
tickingby( 独 立 主 格 结 构 )，finally the big day came when Jane would give her
singing performance on the stage.
When the host announced it was Jane's turn, she was wheeled onto the stage.
Nervous as she was(倒装结构)，she tried to collect herself and stay focused. As she
began to sing, the audience got enchanted with her charming voice. Seconds after her
performance, all the audience rose with thunderous applause and cheers. No sooner
had Jane been wheeled off the stage than she was surrounded by her excited
classmates and teachers with bunches of flowers in hands(no sooner...than... 句 型 ).
She was so moved that she uttered in a trembling voice, " Without your support and
encouragement, I wouldn’t have made it today( 虚 拟 语 气 )." With moist eyes, she
threw her arms tightly around Mary and couldn’t speak anything at that very moment.
It was Jane’s persistent efforts and strong faith that paved the way for realizing her
dream(强调句).
