M:It’s a fine day. Mary suggests climbing the mountain and see the view。
W: OK，Mike. It’s interesting. Did you invite Jennet？
M: Of course. The exercise does us good.

W:I’m a little hungry. Could you go to prepare the meal?
M: No, sorry. I’m tired. Let’s just go out somewhere close to eat.
W: But I prefer to eat at home and watch a nice movie.

chips?
W: How about getting some Chinese food? The dishes are tasty and the soup is quite comforting.
M: I’d try something, but I feel they were oily and a little unhealthy.
W: Well, I beg you didn’t choose the right place. There is a great restaurant in the corner of the
harbour street. You won’t be disappointed.

M: Jenny, why did you join the Taichi club?
W: Well, I love this sport. Taichi is a soft martial art.That means it is slow and calm. I like running
or basketball. Taichi can make people feel energetic but not tired.
M: But won’t you get bored with this slow movements?
W: At first I thought it was not interesting at all and lost my patience but my coach encouraged me
to focus on my mind and relax and it’s helpful.
M: Personally I prefer some heavy sports to build my body.
W: Maybe you can try Shaolin Kungfu. It is a hard martial art and a little difficult, you must
practice every move many times.
M: Maybe I can try it.
W: Great! You can try the Kungfu club.

Hello, everyone. Today I’m going to talk about global warming. There is no doubt that the earth
is getting warmer and if it’s a fact that the greenhouse warming effect continues,the earth will have
heated up about 3 degrees. by 2100. You may wonder what will happen if the world gets warmer.
The biggest influence is on sea level. It may rise between 26 and 77 centimeters by 2100. which
means a lot of coastal cities are facing flooding. Another effect is that we may have much worse
weather. There will be more dry weather in South Europe and North America. North Europe,
Australia and Brazil may suffer from more storms. This will course a lot of harms to crops and we
could not simply have enough to eat. So, it’s time to make a few changes in our daily life and
protect our planet.
