Update and manage the website as needed. There is extreme flexibility in this volunteer opportunity so the
individual needs will vary depending on where the person lives, how much time they have to give, and what
resources they have available to them such as a computer or cell phone. This can be done electronically, online &
remotely. No travel is needed. This can all be done remotely.
Required skills: Website development, management
Student Service Learning
Countries served: Guatemala, Panama
Students will have the opportunity to travel to Guatemala or Panama over their school breaks! Volunteers will
take part in the completion of building a primary school and will attend the dedication ceremony (落成典礼) with
the locals. From here, students will also have the opportunity to take part in various cultural trips, learning about
Guatemalan, Panamanian and Mayan history and culture! Most of the cost goes towards the first year of
programming (teacher training. parent training, books, etc.) for the community.
Required skills: As Panama and Guatemala are Spanish speaking countries, any Spanish skills will add that
much more to the experience!
Community Health Intern
Countries served: Kenya
Screen and survey the students about health needs (especially the girls). Develop programs for health
education and provision of health needs. Potentially run community education programs and assess sanitation in the
homes of students and educate their guardians. We will work with you on expenses. There is a hotel nearby.
Required skills: Prefer Graduate-Level Community Health training or equivalent experience
Translation Spanish-English
Countries served: Mexico
The volunteer will work together with the areas of communication, fundraising, direction. It will help to
translate reports, social network messages and others. No related costs. The volunteering is online with flexible
arrangement of hours.
Required skills: Professionalism, teamwork, communication skills
