Person of the Year

As to the “Person of the Year”, it is a great honor for me to recommend my English teacher,

who naturally shows kindness and has become a beloved figure among students.

Whenever we meet with setbacks in studying, her timely encouraging words motivate us

forward and help us build up self-confidence. Knowing that some students have little access to

reading materials, she appealed to us to share books and assist them in reading for fun. Besides, she

volunteers to teach English and painting in a small village during the summer vacation, which has

opened up a new world to those children in need, thus broadening their horizons.

There is no doubt that she deserves the title for all her selfless love. Truly, not only is she a

qualified teacher, but she is also a precious guide in my life.

The next morning, I took out my piggy bank and shook it. “There should be a lot of money

in it. This is years of my savings,” I murmured, with a sinking heart. My mind uncontrollably came
