During Chinese New Year, or the Spring Festival, grand celebrations take place all over the world. We are now
looking for photos and videos of memorable moments from the celebrations. Regardless of who you are or where
you are from, you are welcome to participate in this contest.
Awards and prizes
The contest will select 50 photos:
First prize: 5 persons, RMB 2,000 for each winner;
Second prize: 15 persons, RMB 1,000 for each winner;
Third prize: 30 persons, RMB 600 for each winner.
The contest will also select 10 short films:
First prize: RMB 5,000 for the winner;
Second prize: 3 persons, RMB 3,000 for each winner;
Third prize: 6 persons, RMB 2,500 for each winner.
Timeline
Submission: from December 20, 2023 to February 12, 2024;
Selection and ranking: from February 13 to May 15, 2024;
Result announcement: June 30, 2024.
Requirements
1. Photo contest:
a) Entries can be single photos or a series of photos. A series of photos is counted as one entry and each series
may contain four to ten photos;
b) Each entry should have a title and a short description (such as time, place and people in the photo) in
Chinese or English;
2. Short film contest:
a) The videos should be real;
