How to Spend Time Properly

Time, equal to everyone, is more precious than any other possessions. How we

spend that valuable time determines the quality of our life.

As far as I am concerned, there are three rules for effective time management.

Firstly, avoid taking a full load. Be reasonable about how much work you can do.

Secondly, make a list of all the things that we need to get done in a given time. Put the

tasks in order of importance and delete any unimportant items. Thirdly, be focused. For

example, electronic products can easily disturb our learning progress, and shutting them

down while studying helps improve the efficiency.

Let’s make good use of time to make our life meaningful.

When it was finally time for Dj to sing, the music played on, and he froze. His little

face grew pale, and we could see the panic in his eyes as the silence grew. The pianist

started the music again but still nothing came out. The silence seemed enormous and the

entire audience seemed to lean forward in expectation. The whole family were all

staring at our little boy, hoping he would cheer up and act out his part. Then the pianist

started over again, and a low voice filled the air, singing the song.

Everyone turned to see who was singing, while I knew it was my brother. My mother

and I fixed our eyes on Dj. The color came back to his face, and his eyes began to

sparkle. He opened his mouth and began to sing along, his little voice growing stronger

with each word. The show ended with thunderous applause, with the kids bowing

gratefully, accepting the audience’s praise for a job well done. I turned to my brother

with tears in my eyes. I knew at that time no words needed to be spoken; the

understanding between us was louder than the applause that night.
