my fault. I thought you had told my secret to others. It turns out that I am the fool.” Hearing my

words, she held my hands firmly and forgave me for what I had done to her. Friendship is one of the

most valuable things in the world. I am grateful for having such a faithful and supportive friend.

nurturing our relationship. Deep down, we knew conflicts helped us grow into better individuals

instead of enemies. Had it not been for this experience, I would not have come to realize that the

love of a true friend is sincere, unconditional and eternal.

Luckily, Lynn was still in the field. Low in spirits, the poor girl was sitting there, sobbing and

wiping her tears, who seemed to be in the ocean of sadness and disappointment. With great regret

and shame, I explained what had happened, apologized to her for my disbelief in her and begged her

for forgiveness. Learning about the truth the sobbing Lynn raised her drooping head without saying

anything but started to blubber like a child. Worryingly, I pumped, “Could you be my friend again?”

This time, she nodded, with a shallow smile. I hugged her tightly, afraid of losing my friend again.

After that day, as usual, we hung out together, studied together and stayed up till the early hours of

the morning to exchange our dreams. Moreover, we became closer than before and nothing could

divide us anymore for both of us learned that trust always comes first in friendship.
