【基础知识】

1. come on

用于表示催促、鼓励、安慰等，此处表示催促，意为“赶快；快点儿”。其他含义：

1) 用来表示请求、鼓励、劝说等，意为“来吧；行啦”。

Come on, Kate. Don't be shy. 来吧，凯特。别害羞。

2) 用于体育竞赛等场合鼓励队员，意为“加油”。

“Come on! Come on!” shouted the Class One students. “加油！加油！”一班的学生大声喊道。

2. tidy

tidy adj. 整洁的，整齐的；有条不紊的

E.g. Her clothes were clean and tidy. 她的衣服干净整洁。

反义词: untidy 不整洁的，凌乱的

3. but

conj. “但是，然而，可是”，它可以连接两个并列成分或两个并列分句，表转折关系。

E.g. My books are on the desk, but hers aren't. 我的书在书桌上，但是她的不在。

4. always

Always adv. “总是，永远”，常用在一般现在时中，表示频率。

E.g. I'm always at home in the evening. 晚上我总是在家里。

常见的表示频度的副词还有：usually 通常，often 经常，sometimes 有时，ever 曾经，never 从不等。

5. take 与bring

这两个词都有“拿”、“取”、“带”之意，但用法有别：

1) bring 是表示“拿来；带来”，是指从别处往说话者所在或将要在的地方“拿”或“带”。在方向上正好与 take

所表示的方向相反。

2) take 意为“拿走、带走”，强调把人(物)从说话者身边带走。方向恰好与 bring 相反。

E.g. Please take the math book to your sister.请把这本教学书带给你姐姐。

Please bring your dictionary to school.请把你的字典带到学校来。

6. room n.

1) 房间可数名词

E.g. She cleans the room.

2) 空间、空地不可数名词

E.g. We should make room for our grandma.

7. I think it's in your grandparents' room.

此句式含有宾语从句的主从复合句，主句是 I think(我认为)，从句是 it's in your grandparents' room，作 I

think 的宾语。英语中常用 I think 来表述自己的主观想法或看法。

E.g. I think you are right. 我认为你是正确的。

I don't think he is a teacher. 我认为他不是一名教师。

8. I don't know. 我不知道。

在回答别人的问题时，如果你不知道，可以用 I don't know.回答。使用时，习惯在前面加上 sorry 或I'm

sorry。know 在这里表示“知道，了解”。
