知识点 1：词汇

1.ignore v. 忽略，忽视

如： His letters were ignored.他的信被忽略了。

2.. concern v. 使担心;使不安；涉及,关系到;影响到

【词组】concern about 关心

e.g. The boy's poor health concerned his parents.那个男孩很差的健康情况令他的父母担忧。

He was very concerned about his sister..他非常关心他的姐姐。

3.loose adj. 不紧的，松的

e.g. She wore loose garments in the summer. 她夏天穿很宽松的衣服。

I have got a loose tooth. 我有颗牙齿松动了。

4.. purpose n. 目的，意图

e.g. What is the purpose of his visit? 他此行的目的是什么？

5. cheat v.欺骗，作弊

e.g. They cheated the old woman of her house and money. 他们骗了那个老妇人的房子和钱。

He never cheated in exams.他在考试中从不作弊。

6. share v.分享，分担 n.（参与、得到的）份，一份

e.g. They always share their happiness and sorrow. 他们总是分享快乐和悲伤。

I have done my share of the work. 我完成了我的那部分工作。

7.crazy adj. 疯狂的，不理智的

【词组】crazy about 对...很着迷

e.g. You're crazy to go out in this stormy weather. 你在这种暴风雨天气出去真是太疯狂了。

She is just crazy about dancing.她对跳舞很痴迷。

8. dare v.敢，敢于

e.g. How dare you accuse me of lying！你竟敢指责我说谎！

My younger sister dare not go out alone.我妹妹不敢一个人出门。

知识点 2：短语

1.add up 加起来，总计

e.g. Add up 3, 4 and 5 and you'll get 12. 三加四加五等于 12.

If we add these marks up, we'll get a total of 90. 如果我们把这些分数加起来，我们一共可以得 90 分。

2.calm down （使）冷静，平静

e.g. Calm down, sir. What's the trouble?先生，请冷静一下，有什么问题吗？

We tried to calm him down, but he keep shouting.我们试着让他平静下来，但是他还是一直吼叫。

3.go through 通过；检查；完成；经历

e.g. The country has gone through too many wars.这个国家经历了太多战争。

The new law did not go through.新的法规没有通过。

Let’s go through it again, this time with the music.我们再完成一遍，这次要随音乐一起。

4.set down 制定；放下；记下

e.g. I have set down everything that happened.我已经记下了所有发生的事。

5.a series of 一连串的，一系列的，连续的

后面加复数名词或不可数名词，一般谓语动词用单数；当强调个体成员谓语可以用复数。

e.g.There has been a series of car accidents at the crossing.在十字路口连续出现交通事故。

There are a series of strange objects in his suitcase. 他的提箱里有一些奇怪的东西。

6.on purpose 故意地；有目的的

e.g. He did it on purpose. 他故意做的。

I came here on purpose to see you. 我特地来这里看你。

7.according to 根据，按照

e.g. They divided themselves into three groups according to age.他们根据年龄分成三组。

8.join in 参加

【同义词】 take part in

e.g. Would you like to join in my birthday party? 你愿意来参加我的生日聚会吗？


