【基础知识】
1. kiss
1) 动词或名词，意为“亲吻；接吻”。
He kissed his wife and children goodbye.
2) 由kiss 构成的短语：hearty kiss 亲切的吻 sweet kiss 甜蜜的吻

1) 动词，意为“重视；珍视”。
Do you value her as your teacher?
2) 名词，意为“价值”。
What is the value of this picture?
3) 短语 be of great value 相当于 be very valuable，意为“很有价值的”。
The book is of great value. = The book is very valuable.
3. mad
1) 形容词，意为“很生气的；疯的”。相当于 very angry。
2) 短语 be/get mad at sb. 意为“对某人很生气”。

4. knock
1) 动词，意为“敲；击”。
2) 名词，意为“敲击声；敲击”。
He knocked his head against the door.

5. worth

6. as soon as
意为“一……就……”，引导时间状语从句。当主句是一般过去时，从句也用一般过去时；当主句是一
般将来时，从句用一般现在时。

7. take off
是动副短语，意为“脱下；起飞”。

8. empty
1) 形容词，意为“空的；空洞的”。其反义词是 full，意为“满的”。

2) 动词，意为“排空；倒空”。
I emptied everything into another box.
9. behave
动词，意为“表现；举止”，其名词形式是 behavior，意为“表现；举止”。
The child behaved well at school.
He is a boy with a bad behavior.
10. suggestion
名词，可数，意为“建议”。其动词形式是 suggest，意为“建议”。
I suggest that we should hold a meeting tonight.
11. 辨析 point at 与point to
1) point at 意为“指着”，表示指较近的地方，有时含有贬义。
2) point to 意为“指向”，表示指较远的地方，不含感情色彩。
Don’t point at people with your finger.

易错点 1：be supposed to 的用法
【精析】be supposed to 意为“应该”，后接动词原形， be 有人称、数和时态的变化，通常用来表示劝告、建
议、义务和责任等， 相当于情态动词 should。

易错点 2：be used to,used to,be/get used to doing 的区别
【精析】be used to do 意为“被用来做……”， 是use sth. to do sth. 结构的被动语态；be/get used to doing 意为
“习惯于做……”；used to do 意为“过去常常做……”。
Tom and I used to play Chinese chess together.
This machine is used to wash clothes.
易错点 3：take off 的用法
【精析】take off 意为“脱下(衣服等)”时， 为及物动词短语；意为“(飞机等)起飞”时， 为不及物动词短语。
Don't worry. The plane will take off in two hours.
易错点 4：worth 的用法

【精析】worth 为形容词， 意为“值得；有……价值(的)”， 在句中一般作表语。常用于句型：①主语＋be
＋worth...表示“……值得……， ……值(多少钱)”；② It's＋worth＋doing sth. 表示“值得做某事”， 该句型可
与“sth.＋be＋worth＋doing”句型互相转换。如果表示“非常值得”，worth 前常用 well 来修饰。
易错点 5：except 与besides 的区别
【精析】except 意为“除……之外”， 表示其后所接的人或事物不包含在内；besides 意为“除……之外(另外
还有)”， 表示其后所接的人或事物也包含在内。
