本单元主要交际动能项目是有礼貌地询问信息，主要询问所需信息的表达方式。本单元主
要的语法项目是由 wh-引导的宾语从句。对此语法项目的掌握贯穿于交际之中。

重点：是本单元的一些短语和固定句式；由 wh-引导的宾语从句。
难点：宾语从句的时态。
三、重点知识点讲解：
考点（一）词语辨析
Ⅰ.information，news，message 辨析
1. information 常指通过学习、阅读、查询等方式而获得的“信息，情报”。
如：You can search the Internet for more information about Hainan.
你可以到网上去搜索有关海南的更多信息。
2. news“消息，新闻”是不可数名词，指公众感兴趣的近来发生的事件，尤其是通过广
播、电视、报纸、网络等报道的事件。
如：We often listen to the morning news.我们常常收听早间新闻。
3. message 一般指口头传递或书写的“音信”，是可数名词。
Can I take a message for him?我能给他捎个信儿吗?
【典型例题 1】Is there any good_______ today?

Ⅱ.go past,go across ,go through 辨析
1.go past 指在某一范围之外的“通过，路过”。
如：When he went past the store,he saw Tom standing there.当他路过那家商店时，他看见汤姆
正站在那儿。
2.go across 指从某一范围内的“一边到另一边”，强调的是面或线。

如：You must be careful when you go across the road.当你过马路的时候，一定要小心。
3. go through 指从某一范围中的“穿过，通过”，强调的是空间。还可指经历；经受。大多
指痛苦的事情。
如：I go through the park to school every day.我每天穿过公园去上学。
【典型例题 2】1. You must be careful when you go ________the street.

2. Go the post office, and turn left at the first crossing.

Ⅲ. for the first time,the first time 辨析
1. for the first time 表示有生以来或一段时间内第一次做某事，在句中一般单独作状语。
如：I was criticized by my teacher for the #rst time. 我第一次被老师批评。
【知识拓展】如果 first 等序数词前有物主代词或名词所有格时，the 要去掉。
2. the first time 常引导时间状语从句，其重点不是要说第一次做了什么，而是要叙述另一
个动作或情况，也可以引导一个表语从句，强调到说话为止某一情况或动作的次数。
如：The #rst time I %ew on a plane I was really nervous.' 我第一次乘飞机时确实很
紧张。
【典型例题 3】1. I've been here _______.（for the first time; the first time）
2. I loved this picture_______ I saw it.（for the first time; the first time）
考点（二）宾语从句的用法
特殊疑问句作为宾语从句时，用原来的连接代词或连接词引导，它们在从句中充当一定成
分，有具体的意义，不可省略。
Show me what you have written.把你所写的给我看看。
I don’t know whose dictionary it is.我不知道这是谁的字典。
Could you please tell me where the post office is？你能告诉我邮局在哪里吗?
二、宾语从句的语序
宾语从句的语序是陈述语序，即从句的连接词后面是“主语+谓语+宾语+其他”的语序，
注意连接词在句子中作主语时，后面直接接谓语和宾语等。
He asked who could answer these questions.他问谁能回答这些问题。
注意：含宾语从句的句子的标点符号均由主句决定。
