In the past few years, more and more inventions have come into our life. Of all the inventions, my

favorite is the computer.

The computer was invented in 1946. It is used to do many things. People can go online and search the

Internet to get the information they need. People can send e-mails to each other instead of writing letters.

Sending e-mails is much more convenient and faster than writing letters. People can also use computers to

listen to music, play games, shop or do many other things. Nowadays computers are widely used in offices,

banks, schools, companies, hospitals and many other places. Computers are also used in scientific research

fields today.

The computer is so useful that it is becoming one of the most important parts of people’s life.
