话题分析
本模块以“Great books”为话题，谈论了古今中外的伟人以及他们的著作。该话题常见的命题形式是
写一位作家的生平、介绍他/她的出生、成就等；另一种形式是介绍你最喜欢的一本书等。通过本模块的
学习，学生应该能够写短文介绍和评价自己喜爱的作家或文学作品，并且能运用一般现在时的被动语态
来描述自己最喜欢的一本书。
常用表达

My favourite book
Of all the books that I have read, I like The Adventures of Tintin best. The hero of the story is Tintin. He is a
brave reporter. He has a good friend, a little dog. During their travels, they experience many adventures. As a
reporter, Tintin doesn’t write down what people told him, but tries to find out the truth himself. He isn’t afraid of
anybody or anything. So he becomes the symbol of peace and justice and he is loved by people all over the world.
His works still make senses to people today.

Good morning, everyone! Today is the World Book and Copyright Day. It started in 1995.
In order to encourage more people to read more books, all kinds of activities are held on April 23rd. Till now
many famous books are popular, such as Confucius’ works by Confucius are still read by many people. I spend
most of my free time reading famous books which affect me greatly. I often share my happiness of reading books
with my family and friends. Of all the books, I like The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain best. It tells
how young people grow, how people love each other and how bad people pay for their actions.
