状语从句（5）
一、引导条件状语从句最常用的连词是 if，常见的 if 条件状语从句表示在某条件下，某事很可能发生。如：
If you ask him, he will help you. 如果你请他帮忙，他会帮你的。
If he does not work hard, he will fail his exams. 如果他不努力，考试就要不及格了。
二、If 从句的时态。
1. if 从句用一般现在时，主句用一般将来时。如：
If he runs, he’ll get there in time. 如果他跑着去，他就会及时赶到那儿。
2. if 从句用一般现在时，主句用情态动词+动词原形。如：
She may come with us if she arrives in time. 如果她来得及时，就可以和我们一道去。
三、if 引导的条件状语从句位置灵活，可直接放在主句后面，也可放在句首。放在句首时，从句后面要用
逗号和主句隔开。如：I’ll go to see you if I have time. 如果有时间，我就去看你。
If it rains tomorrow, we’ll stay at home. 如果明天下雨，我们就待在家里。
四、同义句转换：含有 if 引导的条件状语从句可与“祈使句+and/or+一般将来时的句子”句式进行转换。
If you don’t hurry up, you’ll miss the train. →Hurry up, or you’ll miss the train. 快点儿，否则你就赶不上火车了。
If you work hard, you’ll pass the exam easily. →Work hard, and you’ll pass the exam easily. 努力学习，你将很容易通过考试。
五、“if 引导的条件状语从句”与“if 引导的宾语从句”的区别：
①if 引导条件状语从句时，意为“如果，假如”，当主句时态是一般将来时时，从句时态用一般现在时。如：
Don’t go and play football if you don’t finish your homework. 如果你没有完成作业，不要去踢足球。
If she gets up a little earlier, she’ll have time to eat breakfast at home. 如果她早点儿起床，就有时间在家里吃早餐。
②if 充当宾语从句的连接词时，相当于 whether，意为“是否”，遵循宾语从句的时态规则。如：
I don’t know if the train has arrived. 我不知道火车是否到了。
---- I don’t know if he will come. 我不知道他是否会来。 ---- He will come if it doesn’t rain. 如果不下雨，他会来的。
