并列复合句教材原句

1.含义:
并列复合句是指由并列连词 and, but, or 等把两个或两个以上的简单句连在一起 而构成的句子。2.构成:
简单句+并列连词+简单句
3.并列连词
① 表示并列和顺承关系的连词:and (和;然后)
They are watching TV, and the others are listening to the radio. 他们在看电视，其他人在听广播。
② 表示转折关系的连词:but (但是;然而)
John likes playing basketball, but he didn't play it yesterday.约翰喜欢打篮球,但他昨天没打。
③ 表示选择关系的连词:or (或者;否则)
The children can go with us, or they can stay at home,孩子们可以跟我们走，也可以待在家里。
4.联想拓展
其他形式的并列句:
“祈使句+and/or +陈述句”结构中，当前后两部分之间为并列和顺承关系时，要用 and 连接;前后两部分
之间为转折关系时，要用 or 连接。
Work hard and you will pass your examination. 努力学习，你就能通过你的考试。
Hurry up，or you will miss the train.快点，否则你要赶不上火车了。
