【拓展】reason 作名词时为可数名词，其复数形式为 reasons；reasonable 作形容词，意为“合理的”。

responsibility n. 责任
responsibility 作名词，意为“责任”。
例：You should know that it is your responsibility, not his. 你应该知道这是你的责任，不是他的。
【拓展】responsibility 的形容词形式为“responsible”，常用于搭配 be responsible for sth 和be responsible to
sb/sth 中。
重点句型
Keeping pet dogs is a good idea. 养宠物狗是一个不错的想法。
动名词作主语时，谓语动词一般用第三人称的单数形式。
例：Doing eye exercises is good for our eyes. 做眼保健操对我们的眼睛有好处。
Not all dogs are friendly. 不是所有的狗都是友好的。
Not all 表示部分否定。

A) 常见的容易混淆的副词
1. late 与lately
late 意为“晚；晚”；lately 意为“最近”。
例：You have come too late. 你来得太晚了。
I haven’t seen Mary lately. 我最近没有看到Mary。
2. wide 与widely
wide 表示空间宽度；widely 意为“广泛地”。
例：He opened the door wide. 他把门大开着。
English is widely used in the world. 英语在世界范围内被广泛使用。
B) 常见的兼做形容词与副词的单词及其比较级和最高级形式
