I’m sorry to occupy your precious time ， I really want to tell you about the problem of some

people keeping too many pets nowadays. I take the problem more and more seriously for the following

Dear Chris,

I’m so glad to receive your e-mail asking what I did for my mother on this year’s Mother’s Day. As

you know, this year, Mother’s Day fell on May 8th, which is just before the University Entrance Exam.

So, I decided to do something special for my mum. I made a pretty Mother's Day card with the words

“Happy Mother’s day! Thank you for everything you’ve done for me over the years, mom. I’ll love you

forever!” in it and gave it to my mother with a hug and kiss. I still remember how bright my mother’s

eyes were and how excited she was at my gift.

Besides, under the guidance of my father, I tried baking a fruit cake and preparing a great seafood

dinner for my mother, which delighted my mom so much. She expressed her thanks in exciting words,

wishing that I would strengthen confidence and perform well in the coming University Entrance Exam.

There are various ways to show appreciation for mothers, but what I want to say is that we should learn

to be grateful for everything that our parents bring to us.
