1. Mr. Yang hoped I could understand that he was so strictly with me because he thought I should have behaved
better.
答案：strictly →strict
解析：be strict with sb.为固定搭配，意为“对某人要求严格”。故将 strictly 改为 strict.
2. As students, we usually sit too longer in the classroom, and as a result our eyes and brains get tired.
答案：longer →long

high 和 highly 的区别

很高。She is a highly educated woman.她是受过很高教育的女人。类似的词汇还有 close/ closely,
wide/widely, deep/deeply 等。通常不带－ly 的副词表示具体的行为和动作，说明的动作或状况有可
测量性和可见性；而以－ly 结尾的副词所表达的常常是抽象性的行为和状况，强调程度。
8. By accepting lower prices, organizers can sell tickets that would however go unsold.
答案：however →otherwise
