专题 07 数词
知识点 1：数词的分类
表示数目多少或顺序先后的词叫做数词。表示数目多少的数词叫做基数词,如one,ten,fifty-two 等。
表示顺序先后的数词叫做序数词,如first,tenth,fiftieth 等。
知识点 2：基数词的写法
(1)1~12： one,two,three,four,five,six,seven,eight,nine,ten,eleven,twelve
(2)13~19：以-teen 为结尾：thirteen,fourteen,fifteen,sixteen,seventeen,eighteen,nineteen
(3)20~90:以-ty 结尾：twenty,thirty,forty,fifty,sixty,seventy,eighty,ninety
(4)21~99:十位与个位之间要加连字符“—”:twenty-one,sixty-five,ninety-nine

知识点 3：数词的读法
1、1-12 为独立的单词，有其各自的形式
one,two,three,four,five,six,seven,eight,nine,ten,eleven,twelve
2、13-19 都以 teen 结尾
thirteen,fourteen,fifteen,sixteen,seventeen,eighteen,nineteen
3、20-90 之间的“整十”都以 ty 结尾
twenty,thirty,forty,fifty,sixty,seventy,eighty,ninety
4、20-99 之间的“几十几”，先说“几十”，再说“几”，且中间加连词符。
如：22twenty-two,49forty-nine,94ninety-four
5、101-999 之间的非整百的基数词读法为： 百位数和十位数（或个位数）之间用 and 连接。
如：608sixhundredandeight,732sevenhundredandthirty-two
6、 四 位 数 及 以上 的 基 数 词 读法 为 ： 先 将 数字 从 右 向 左 每三 位 加 一 个 逗号 ， 第 一 个 逗号 读
thousand（千），第二个逗号读 million（百万），第三个逗号读 billion（十亿），读数时从左向右
依次读出来。
202 读作：twohundredandtwo
234 读作：twohundredandthirty-four
1,234 读作：onethousand,twohundredandthirty-four
3,077 读作：threethousand,andseventy-seven
11,234 读作：eleventhousand,twohundredandthirty-four

知识点 4：数词的用法
一、基数词的用法
1. 时间的表达
12 小时制时刻的读法分为顺读法和倒读法。顺读法是依次读“点钟数、分钟数”。倒读法中，在
前半小时：“分钟数＋past＋已过点钟数”；在后半小时：“分钟数＋to＋下个钟点数”。半小时
用“half”，一刻钟用 quarter。
6:00 读作：six(o'clock)
7:30 顺读：seventhirty倒读：halfpastseven
9:15 顺读：ninefifteen倒读：aquarterpastnine
2:45 顺读：twoforty-five倒读：aquartertothree
21:50 顺读：twenty-onefifty倒读：tentotenintheevening＝9:50p.m.
24:00 读作：twenty-fourhundredhours＝midnight
Thebususuallyleavesat19:15.公共汽车通常在 19:15 离开。
(读作 aquarterpastsevenintheevening或nineteenfifteen)
2. 表示计量：表示事物的计量，即事物的长度、宽度、深度和高度
如：Itis50metres/kilometers/mileslong(wide,deep,high).它有 50 米/千米/英里长（宽、深、高）。
3. 表示编号：编号的数字如果过小，可用序数词或基数词表示；如果数字较大，通常用基数词表示
如：Thetenthlesson=LessonTen第10 课
Room405第405 号房‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘
Page215第215 页

4. 表示不确切的数字：基数词后面直接加上复数名词表示精确的数字，而基数词复数形式加上
“of” 表示不确切的数字
如： fivehundredstudents500 名学生
twothousandpeople2000 人
hundredsofstudents几百名学生
millionsofworkers成千上万的工人
5. 表示年龄和岁数
1）表示年龄的主要句式如下：
Heis10(yearsofage).他10岁。
Heis10yeasold.他10岁。
Heisaten-year-oldboy.他是个 10 岁的男孩子。
Heisaboyof10yeasold.他是个 10 岁的男孩子。
Attheageoften,hebegantolearnEnglish.他10 岁开始学英语。
2)介词 in+one’stwenties(thirties…)表示 “在某人 20 多岁（30 多岁……）”。
如：Myfatherisinhisfifties.我爸爸 50 多岁。
Whenhewasinhisforties,hebegantolearnEnglish.当他 40 多岁时，他开始学英语。
6. 表示年代：表示什么世纪，什么年代时，通常在数词后加 s或’s，并在年代前加定冠词 the ,如
