Section A

1.-Hello!喂!

-Hello, Jane!This is Kangkang.喂，筒!我是康康。

(1)英国人接听电话的习惯是电话铃响后，拿起听筒先说 hello, 并自报机构名称或私人电

话号码。如:

Hello!l 722-0645.你好!(这是) 722-0645。

(2) 假如接电话的人正是被找的人，可回答:“This is ... speaking/ Speaking." 或"This

is... ." , “意思是我是....” 如:

-Hello? 喂?

-Hello. This is Chen Tianlun. / This is Chen Tianlun speaking.喂，我是陈天伦。

[拓展]

①询问对方是谁: “Who's this?”。

② 询问对方是不是某人时，用 "Is this...?"。如:

Is this Lily?你是莉莉吗?

2. Are you free this Sunday?这星期天你有空吗?

(1) be free “ ”意为有空的。

be 动词要随主语的不同而使用不同的形式。如:

I am free now.我现在有空。

Are they free tomorrow?他们明天有空吗?

Sara is not free now.萨拉现在没空。

[拓展] free “ ”作形容词还有免费的意思。如:

The food in the restaurant is free.这个饭店的食物免费。

(2) Sunday “ ”意为星期日，星期天。星期的拼写中，从星期一到星期天的首字母都要大

写，星期的复数形式表示每周的这天。如:

It's a fine Sunday morning 这是一个晴朗的星期天早晨。

I often go shopping on Sundays.我常常星期天去买东西。

[注意] 在星期的前面加介词 on 表示在星期几。如:

on Sunday 在星期天

this Sunday 这个星期天，当 this 后接时间词时，其前不用任何介词。

3. What's up?什么事?/怎么啦?

“What's up?" “可用 What's the matter?”来代替，常用于口语，用来询问对方有什么事情。

如:

-Hello. 你好。

-Hello. This is Linda speaking. What's up?你好。我是琳达。怎么啦?

[拓展]在下面几种情况下也常使用这个句子:

(1)询问某人在做什么。如:

-W hat's your brother up?你弟弟在做什么?

-He' s watching TV.他在看电视。

(2) 询问某人或某物发生了什么事 “，意为怎么了?” “或出什么事了?” “相当于 What's

wrong?” “或What's the matter?”。如:

-Kangkang isn't at school.康康没来上学。

-What's up? 出了什么事?

What's wrong with you? 你怎么啦?

What's wrong with your bike?你的自行车怎么啦?

4.-Would you like to go to the West Hill for a picnic?你愿意去西山野餐吗?

-Oh, I'd love to.哦，我愿意。

(1) would like to do sth. “ ” 意为想要做某事，相当于 want to do sth.。是询问对方意见，

邀请或请求某人做某事的一种委婉的表达法。

通常肯定回答 “会用 Yes, I'd like to./I'd love to./Sure."。

否定回答 “可用 I'd like to, but .../I'm sorry I can't. I have to...”。如:

-Would you like to go shopping with me?你愿意跟我去逛街吗?

-Yes, I'd like to./I'd love to, but I have to do my homework. 好的，我很乐意。/我很想去，

但是我不得不做我的作业。

(2) go for a picnic “ ”意为去野餐。for 在此是介词，表示目的。相当于 go out for a picnic

或have a picnic。如:

Let's go for a picnic.咱们去野餐吧。

5. Please tell Maria about it. 请告诉玛丽亚这件事。

tell sb. about sth. /sb. “意为告诉某人某事/”关于某人的情况。如:

Please tell me about your family.请告诉我你的家庭情况。

I tell Kevin about the little boy.我告诉了凯文关于那个小男孩的事。

[对比] tell sb. sth. /tell sth. to sb. “意为告诉某人某事/”把某事告诉某人。如:

Tell me your name and address. 告诉我你的名字和住址。

6. I'll call her.我会给她打电话。

call sb. “ ”意为给某人打电话，也可以说 call sb. up, 这里 call 是动词。也可用 give sb. a

call, 这里 call 是名词。如:

Please call me tomorrow.请你明天给我打电话。

Could you ask her to call me this evening?

= Could you ask her to give me a call this evening?你叫她今天晚上给我打电话好吗?

[拓展]“call sb. +名字” “意为称呼某人为....” 如:

We call him Mike.我们叫他迈克。

7. See you then.到时候见。

此处 then “ ” “意思是那时。对它的回答一般是 See you."

[拓展] then “ ”还有然后的意思。表示先后顺序。如:

I get up at 7 in the morning. Then I have breakfast.早晨我 7点起床，然后吃早饭。

语音学习技巧

元音字母 a的相关组合 air, are, augh, aw 及搭配 a+ble, a+nge 在单词中的发音规则:

1. air/are 在重读音节中读/eə/。如: hair,care;

2. augh/aw 在重读音节中读/ɔ:/。如: daughter,saw;

3.当a后跟 ble 或nge 时a读/eɪ/。如: table,change。

Section B

1. Would you like to sing some songs with me,Kangkang?康康，你愿意同我一起唱歌

吗?

(1) sing some songs “ ”意为唱歌，还可以说 sing a song。如:

Let's sing a song for everyone!让我们为大家唱首歌吧!

(2) with 意为"和.... ”一起。如:

I want to go swimming with my father. 我想和我的爸爸一起去游泳。

2. I'm sorry I can't. I have to cook.对不起，我不能(和你一起唱歌)。我得做饭。

(1) “I'm sorry + that ”引导的从句中 that 可省略。如:

I'm sorry (that) I'm late.对不起，我迟到了。

(2) have to “ ”意为必须，不得不，强调客观上的必要。后面跟动词原形，可用于各种时

态。主语为第三人称单数时，用 has to。如:

I have to go.我必须走了。

Angela has to look after her sister.安琪拉不得不照看她妹妹。

[拓展] must “也可以用来表达必须"。但与have to 不同的是它更侧重于个人意志上的主

观上的必要。如:

I must study hard, or I may not pass the final exam. 我必须努力学习，否者可能期末考试

都过不了。

3. Michael, how about flying a kite with me?迈克尔，和我一起放风筝怎么样?

how about 意为...怎么样?” “。How about doing sth. ...?" 常用来表示征求对方意见或提出

邀请。

how about 与what about 同义，可以互换。如:

How about/What about going shopping with me?和我一起去购物怎么样?

4. I'd like that, but I'm sorry I have no time.我很乐意，但是很抱歉我没有时间。

(1) “I'm sorry..." 是对别人的建议或请求不得不拒绝的一种委婉礼貌的表达方法。如:

-What about going fishing with me?和我一块去钓鱼怎么样?

-I'm sorry I can't go with you. 对不起，我不能和你一起去。

(2) no 既可以修饰可数名词，也可修饰不可数名词，相当于 not a/any。本句可表达为: “

I'm sorry I don't have any time."。

Jane has no toys. = Jane doesn't have any toys.简没有玩具。

5.- May I speak to Maria?请玛丽亚接电话好吗?

-Oh, hello, Sally. Maria isn't in now.哦，萨莉，你好。玛丽亚现在不在家。

(1)这是打电话时的常用语， “请某人接电话”的表达为:“ May I speak to sb.?" “或Could I

speak to sb.?" 。若接电话的正是要找的人，可以回答: “Speaking. / This is sb./ This is

sb. speaking."。

[拓展 ]若接电话的不是要找的人，并且他(她)“想表达请稍等，别挂电话 ”，就可以

说:“Hold on (for a moment), please. / Hold the line, please. / Just a moment/minute,

please. / Will you hold the line, please?"。如:

-May I speak to Wu Wei?请吴伟接电话好吗?
