要点拓展：(1) 动词 cook 可以接双宾语，即构成 cook sb sth(=cook sth for sb)结构。

(2) cook 还可以做名词，意为“厨师”。

例句：Unlike my sister, I am a terrible cook.

(3) do some cooking 是固定搭配，相当于动词 cook，意为“做饭”。

例句：The old lady washed some dirty clothes and did some cooking.

注意：cooker 不表示人，意为“厨具”。

一眼辨异 The cook is cooking food with the new cooker.
