【语法提要】
1.find sb. doing sth.
find sb. doing sth.意为“发现某人正在做某事”，doing sth.作宾语补足语，强调动作正在进
行。
例句：You can find many people running along the river in the morning.清晨你会发现许多人在
沿着河边跑步。
2.although
although 意为“虽然；尽管；即使”，引导让步状语从句。
例句：Although she is wrong, it’s not a big deal.尽管她不对，但这也不是什么大不了的事。
Although he is very poor，he is ready to help others.尽管他很穷，但他总是乐于助人。
although/though 作连词，意为“虽然；尽管”， 这 两个词 都 不 能 与but 连用 ， 即用 了
although/ though 就不能再用 but。不过although 可以与yet/still 一起使用。

例句：尽管他身体不好，但是他工作很努力。
正：Although/Though he is in poor health，he works hard.
误：Although he is in poor health，but he works hard.
even though/if(即使；尽管）和 as though/if(好像；仿佛）这两个词组中的 though 不可以换为
although。
【语法提要】
1.get on/along with sb.
get on/along with sb.表示“和某人和睦相处”。get on/along well with sb.表示“和某人相处得
好”，反义表达 get on badly with sb.表示“和某人相处得不融洽”。
例句：He gets on well with his boss.他和他的老板相处得很好。
get on with sth.（=get along with sth.）表示“某事进展，进行”的意思。
例句：I’m not getting on very fast with this work.我这项工作进展得不是很快。
2.leave
leave 遗忘；留下。常用结构：leave sth. somewhere 把某物忘/留在某地；leave sb.by oneself
把某人单独留下。
例句：Unluckily，I left my passport in the hotel.不幸的是，我把护照忘在旅馆了。
leave 与forget
leave 意为“遗忘;忘带”时，为及物动词，
后接名词、代词作宾语，再接地点状
语。也可意为“离开；舍弃”，此时
后面可直接接地点。
The boy left his hat on the train. 这个男
孩把帽子忘在火车上了。
She left New York in a hurry.她匆忙离开
了纽约。
forget 为及物动词，意为“忘记”，表示忘
记做某事或忘记某物，不强调地点状
语，其后可接名词、不定式、动名
词。
I forgot her name.我忘了她的名字。
She forgot to close the window.她忘了关
窗户。
【语法提要】
pressure
pressure 为不可数名词，意为“压力”，此处指精神上、外界施加的压力，相当于 stress。
Parents often give their children too much pressure.父母经常给他们的孩子太多压力。
