一、并列连词
并列连词用来连接具有并列关系的词，短语或句子，可表示并列，转折，因果，选择
关系。
1.表示并列关系的并列连词
常用的表示并列关系的并列连词有：and,not only....but also....,as well as,neither....nor.....
等
(1)not only...but also...,neither...nor...要遵循就近原则
(2)as well as...表示“和”，做主语时谓语动词和前面的主语保持一致
eg The mother as well as her three children is playing in the garden.
2.表示转折关系的并列连词
常用的表示转折关系的并列连词有：but,while,yet 等
eg I am reading while he is watching TV.
3.表示因果关系的并列连词
常用的表示因果关系的并列连词有：for
eg It must have rained last night,for the ground is wet.
4.表示选择关系的并列连词
常用的表示选择关系的并列连词有：or,either...or...等
eg I would like either tea or coffee.
Work hard,or you will fall behind the other students.
二、从属连词
从属连词用来连接各种从句
1.引导宾语从句
引导宾语从句的从属连词有：that,if/whether
eg He told me that he would help me with my maths.
I don’t know if/whether he has gone to Shanghai.
2.引导状语从句的从属连词
(1)引导时间状语从句的从属连词有：since,until,after,before,when,while,as,as soon as 等
(2)引导让步状语从句的从属连词有：although,though,even if/even though,whenever(无论
何时) ,wherever(无论哪里), whatever(无论什么)
eg Though they are tired,they are still working.
Even if we may fail,we will try again.
注：though/although 不能和 but 连用，两者只能用其中一个。
(3)引导原因状语从句的从属连词有：because,as,since 等
eg We were late for school because it rained yesterday.
Since everybody is here,let’s begin our meeting.
(4)引导目的状语从句的从属连词有：so that,in order that(in order to 后面跟不定式)
eg Mr and Mrs White tried to save money so that they could buy a new computer for his son.
(5)引导条件状语从句的从属连词有：if,unless,once(一旦),as long as(只要)
eg I’d like to open the window if you don’t mind.
You can go out to play as long as you come back before supper.
(6)引导结果状语从句的从属连词有：so...that...,such...that....,so that...等
eg He raised his voice so that everyone heard him.
常考易错点汇总
1.when,while,as 的区别
(1)当某事正在进行的时候，又发生了另一件事，此时 when,while,as 均可用
eg When/While/As I was walking along the street,I met a friend of mine.
(2)当两个长动作同时发生的时候，最常用的是 while
eg While my mother was cooking,I was doing my homework.
(3)当两个动作都表示事情发展变化时，最常用的是 as
eg As children get older,they become more and more interested in things around them.
(4)当两个短动作同时发生时，或表示“一边...，一边...”，最常用 as
eg She looked behind from time to time as she went.
2.so...that...,such...that...的区别
so...+adj/adv that.....
such...+名词/名词短语 that ...
注：如果名词前有 few,little,many,much 修饰时，必须用 so
eg He has so little education that he is unable to get a job.
