Words
Section A 词汇
1. One hundred and five 一百零五（P14）
Hundred 数词，意为“百”，当前面有具体数字时， 其后不加-
s，不和 of 连用。
例：There are about eight hundred students in our school. 我们学校
大约有 80 名学生。
【拓展】 ①若表示一个不确定的数字，前面没有具体数字时，其
后要加-s,且与 of 连用。
hundreds of 意为“数百的；成百上千的”
There are hundreds of people in the restaurant. 这个餐馆里有数百人。
② 与hundred 用法类似的单词还有 thousand“千”, million“百
万”, billion“十亿”
练习：

解析：D hundred 前有具体数字修饰时，表示确切数目，
hundred 前无具体数字修饰时，常用 hundreds, 且与 of 连用，此时表
示概数。“当李敏镐到达机场时，他发现数百粉丝正在那里等着
他”。
2. I ride it to school every day. 我每天骑着它上学。
① ride 此处作及物动词，意为“骑”，后面可接 bike, horse,
motorbike.等
例：He rides a bike to school.= He goes to school by bike. 他骑自行

车去学校。
② every 形容词，意为“每一，每个”，其后接单数可数名词，
every day 意为“每天”，是一般现在时的时间状语。
例：They are busy every day. 他们每天都忙。
Every student comes here. 每一个学生都到这来了。
【辨析】 every day 与everyday
every day
表 示 某 事 发 生 的 频 率 ， 意 为
“每天，天天”，在句中做状
语；
We go to school every day.
我们每天去上学。
everyday 形容词，意为“日常的，普通
的”，在句中做定语；
I study everyday English every day.
我每天学习日常英语。
3. Does your dad drive his car to work?你爸爸开他的车去上班吗？

drive 及物动词，意为“架势；开车送”。Drive his car to work 相
当于 go to work by car, 所以本句还可改写为：Does your dad go to
work by car?
Her aunt drives a bus. 她姑姑开公共汽车。
Her brother often drives her. 她哥哥经常开车送她。
【拓展】driver 可数名词，意为“驾驶员，司机”
4. ...lives about five kilometers from school. ……居住在距离学校
大约 5千米处。
Live 不及物动，意为“居住；生活”，其后若跟名词必须再名
词前加适当的介词。若跟副词，则省略介词。
例：I like to live in the country. 我喜欢住在农村。
Where does he live? 他住在哪里？
【拓展】① live on sth. 意为“以某物为食”
例：Sheep live on grass. 羊以草为食。
They live on rice. 他们以大米为生。

② live a... life 意为“过...生活”
例：The old man lives a happy life. 这个老人过着幸福的生活。
Section B 词汇
1. bus stop 公共汽车站（P16）
stop 在此处做名词，意为“车站，站点”
at the bus stop 在公共汽车站
【辨析】bus stop 与bus station
Bus stop 指城镇内外的临时停车点；bus station 指能停靠、中专
车辆的汽车总站点
【拓展】 stop 也可做 V.，意为“停止”， 常用“stop to do sth.
停下<正在做的事情>来做某事<另外一件事>”; ”stop doing sth.停止做
某事”
例：Let’s stop to have a rest. 让我们停下来休一下吧。
Stop talking, please! 请停止说话。
2. Crossing the River to School 过河上学(P17)36
cross 此处作动词，意为“越过，穿过”，主要指“横穿”；还
可作名词，意为“十字形，叉形记号”
例：The little boy can’t cross the street by himself. 这个小男孩不能
独自坐马路。
The teacher marked the question with a cross. 老师在这个问题上
打了一个叉。
【辨析】cross, across 与crossing
cross 动词 穿过 Let’s cross the road now. 咱们现在过马路吧。
across 介 词 ， 副

They live just across the road. 他们就住在马路对
面。

名词 十字路口 Turn left at the first crossing. 在第一个十字路口向
左转。
3. There is a very big river between their school and the village.

在他们的学校和村庄之间有一条很大的河。
between 作介词，意为“在…之间”。Between…and…意为“在
…和…之间”，连接两个并列的成分。
例：There is a window between walls. 墙之间有一个窗户。
He sits between Tom and Jack. 他坐在汤姆和杰克之间。
