At the 2025 year’s CES show in Las Vegas, Nevada, crowds from around the world came to see the latest
products built with artificial intelligence(Al) from more than 4,000 companies.
Smarter TVs
Samsung introduced a system called Samsung Vision Al for its line of OLED and QLED TV models. The
company said the AI tools are meant to tur the TVs into more “intelligent” assistive devices and to help “simplify
and enrich everyday living” for its users. One example is a feature that permits users to click on different screen
elements to receive immediate information about what they see. The company said another tool makes it possible to
activate live language translations on screens.
Aircraft carrier vehicle
Chinese automaker XPENG launched a system called a Land Aircraft Carrier. It includes a large transport
vehicle with enough space to transport a flying car inside. The idea is for users to be able to launch the flying car
from any where the vehicle can go. The flying car, planned to sell at a price of about $300,000, is fully autonomous
and can carry two people at a time. XPENG said it will aim to increase production for all its vehicles in the coming
year.
Salt increasing spoon
Japanese drink producer Kirin Holdings introduced a new product that aims to strengthen the taste of salt in
food products without increasing the amount of salt. The spoon-shaped device uses electricity to increase saltiness.
The company says the tool-which can be taken anywhere-sends a weak electric current through the top of the
device to food.
