Dear Sir,

I have just finished traveling in Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes. The scenery there is really

beautiful, but it is suffering from damages due to natural forces such as frequent sandstorms.

What’s worse, some tourists even carve their names on the walls, making me heartbroken.

I strongly feel it significant to protect cultural heritage. For one thing, cultural heritage,

which is the witness to the historical research. For another, it is likely to provide a source of

tourism income, if maintained well.

So I hope the authorities can take measures to protect Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes.

I would appreciate if my suggestions were accepted.

lighten our loads and lift our spirits. That is the priceless gift during the journey.
