After-school dance classes and End-of-year Drama banquet. Our club is open to any student of any grade and we meet once a
month (often on the first Friday) in the Choir room.
Starlight Film Club
Our club provides a chance for students at all grades to watch various films together. Films range from Hollywood
blockbusters to cult classics to obscure independent gems. Additionally, screenwriting and filmmaking workshops will take
place at times throughout the school year. It is an ideal club for those interested in the film industry or those who simply like to
talk about movies. The club will be available to 30 to 40 members and will meet twice a month.

My wife’s birthday falls at the beginning of spring when the winter chill still hangs over the approaching warmth.
On that day, I came home from work, stopped her from entering the kitchen and asked her to dine out. “Has Lily called?”
she asked. I shook my head. The atmosphere at the dinner was oppressive. My wife kept glancing at her phone, showing no
signs of appetite.

still lived at home, every year when her birthday approached, we would start the grand preparations days in advance. And after
she left for college, my wife would call her countless times from morning till night. How could she ignore all our love and

Another day concluding, we were about to go to bed when there was a sound of a key rattling in the lock. In came our

It’s getting cold and winter is coming. More than 4 billion birds will stream overhead on their migration

grounds down south, where they will feed. One of my favorite places to see this migration in action is Bosque del Apache
National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico, a critical stopover for a number of different migrating species.
The best time to visit is mid-November through mid-February, and I usually go to the place in mid-December. I’ve made
