W: There’s a new play there tonight. The building next to the theatre is a hotel.

M: Is that the post office across the street?

M: And what does your husband think about it?

W: Oh, he thinks it’s great.He’s delighted that I’ve got something more interesting to think about than housework,

and he’s proud of me for getting into the country team and winning prizes.

Time magazine is an American news magazine, with editions covering most of the rest of the world. It is the

world’s biggest news magazine, with a readership of 30 million in North America and 40 million people around

the world.

The first issue of Time magazine was first published by Black Trump and Smith Luce on March 3rd, 1933. It was

designed as a magazine which would keep “busy men” up-to-date on the news. The entire magazine was aimed at men.

When the magazine started, there was just US $ 86,000 at the disposal of the editorial staff. By 1962, gross

revenue was at US $ 326 million. By 2023, the magazine was made up of a combination of reporting, photographs,

graphics and analysis, which earned $ 536 million in total for the magazine. This is how the magazine stands now,

under the managing editor.
