The much-anticipated Science Fair is scheduled to take place on the 10th week, kicking off from November 5th
and concluding on the 8th, right here on the school grounds. If you are eager to shine at our Academic Showcase of
Excellence, the highlight of our exciting science event, don’t hesitate to secure your spot and register for a
presentation immediately.
Participation Details
Accessible to all secondary education scholars.
Work individually or in teams of up to three members.
Pick a science topic you’re into. It can be from physics, chemistry, biology, environmental science, or a mix of
a few.
Guidelines
Conduct thorough research on your chosen topic.
Design and conduct experiments to explore your question.
Prepare a display board that clearly presents your project.
Be ready to explain your project to visitors engagingly and informatively.
Visual aids such as charts and photos are welcome to enhance your presentation.
Evaluation Standards
Judges would review all materials the participants prepare, and students who enter the finals are encouraged to
design their posters in a clear and informative manner to allow pre-interview evaluation and to enable the interview
to become an in-depth discussion. Considerable emphasis is placed on two areas: creativity and presentation,
especially in the interview section.
Creativity: Judges would place focus on how imaginative and inventive your project is.
Presentation Interview: The interview provides the opportunity to interact with the finalists and evaluate
their comprehension of the foundational science, as well as their ability to interpret and discuss the limitations and
conclusions of their results.
Prize
Judges will choose the top 10 distinguished science stars, who will each receive a T-shirt of the Science Fair.
