Teens Jump Rope Club (TJRC) is a competition jump rope team aimed at improving physical fitness and
confidence through jump rope as a lifetime sport. TJRC provides training and hosts classes as well.
Recreational Classes
In our Recreational Classes, athletes between the ages of 10 and 16 learn new skills in single rope. This class
is great for any beginners with no experience, without competing. The class is held once a week and tryouts are not
required.
Mini Clinics
Join the Mini Clinics for an afternoon of learning skills in single rope and long rope on a daily basis. This
class is great for jumpers who would like to advance their skills and take part in games. Open to ages 10 and up
once a year.
Developmental Team
The Developmental Team is only for TJRC members after attending tryouts. This team will compete in a local
competition while working every week on new skills and skill development throughout the year.
Competition Team
This team practices two to four times a week and will compete worldwide throughout the year. Every year the
team accepts the most outstanding members from other teams and only those who pass a series of tryouts can make
the team.
Tryout Skills: During tryouts, jumpers will perform a Double Dutch routine, Single Rope skills, Speed and
Double Unders. Competition Team applicants should complete all tasks, while Developmental Team members do
not need to master everything. You don’t need a TJRC membership to try out; you can pay after you are invited to
