Dear Staff,
We have finally completed our report, analyzing school choice data so that we can plan for the future. Surveys
were sent to all the parents/guardians of students in our schools, from Kindergarten to Grade, 12. We heard from a
good percentage of families - 89% of them responded. It is important to note that a result like this means that our
families are really invested in education and want to improve the system.
I've included one chart from the report. The rest of it is available on our website. There is nothing further you
need to do, other than to look at the charts if you want to.
A committee has already been formed to figure out what to do with the data we now have. This committee
includes board trustees, the chair of the school board, and several staff from the head office, as well as principals
and teachers from both elementary and secondary schools.
