Tips on setting effective goals

Setting goals is important in many ways. The following tips may help us set effective goals.

Set goals that can be achieved. You should set goals based on your abilities and skills.

Break big goals down into small ones. When you do so, they will seem easier to reach, which will

give you the encouragement to achieve your long-term goal.

Write your goals on paper. It is a good idea to put your goals where you can see them, such as on

your bedroom wall. This will remind you of what you are working for and keep you focused.

Before his mom asked him the reason, Holden had already left. Once back to school, he walked

into the court and said to Flex regretfully, “I’m so sorry, Mr Flex. It was my mistake. ” Then he

said he could clean the floor on his own. The old man wasn’t angry and he just comforted Holden,

“It’s OK. Let’s do it together. ” Using the cleaning tools, the two worked hard to clean the floor.

Soon they managed to make the floor as clean as before. Holden was filled with excitement.

Then Holden told Flex, “Let me help you cut the grass in return for your help!” Mr Flex refused.

However, Holden kept saying that he needed to make up for his mistake. Then they worked

together again. Although it was tiring, Holden carefully helped cut the grass. Finally, they

completed the work before sunset. When they parted, Flex praised Holden for his honesty and

hard work. Holden happily returned home and told his mom what had happened. His mom hugged

him, telling him it was right to be responsible for his mistake.

（一）1-20 小题，每小题 1. 5 分，满分 30 分。

（二）21-35 小题，每小题 2. 5 分，满分 37. 5 分。

（三）36-40 小题，每小题 2. 5 分，满分 12. 5 分。

（四）41-55 小题，每小题 1 分，满分 15 分。

（五）56-65 小题，每小题 1. 5 分，满分 15 分。答对给满分，答错计 0 分。拼写错误, 大

小写问题, 单复数问题，一律判错，计零分。只要符合题意，均可酌情给分。

（六）写作

第一节应用文写作（满分 15 分）

1. 评分原则：

（1）本题总分为 15 分，按照 5 个档次给分。

（2）评分时，先根据文章的内容和语言初步确定其所属档次，然后以该档次的要求来衡

量，确定或调整档次，最后给分。

（3）词数少于 60 或多于 110 的，从总分中减去 2 分。

（4）评分时，应注意的主要内容为：内容要点、应用词汇和语法结构的丰富性和准确性、

上下文的连贯性。

（5）拼写与标点是语言准确性的一个方面，评分时，应视其交际的影响程度予以考虑。

英、美拼写及词汇用法均可接受。

（6）如书写较差，以致影响交际，将分数降低一个档次。

2. 评分内容要点：

写出三个以上含三个有效的 tips 即满足要求。

3. 评分定档：

（1）完成两个或以上内容要点的，基本达到写作目的，为及格档，给定标准分 9 分。

（2）以此为基础，再结合其语言交际功能的实际情况、措辞、语法、句型运用等实际情

况，决定其升档或降档。

（3）只出现一个有效的 tip 的，最高分不超过 6 分。

4. 其他：

（1）结合课程标准及命题要求，本次写作任务不仅考察学生的语言表达能力，特别强调

语言交际能力的实现。因此学生语言表达中表明态度功能的实现需重点关注。
