高考常考词性变化

一、名词

1．名词转换为名词

加后缀，变成指人的名词

(1)[er][or]

farm→farmer　　　　　　　　农场主；农民

office→officer 官员

profession→professor 教授

author 作者

mayor 市长

science→scientist 科学家

tour→tourist 旅行者

(1)规则变化

类别规则例词

一般情况在词尾直接加s

map→maps, desk→desks,

table→tables, tower→towers

以s，x，sh，ch 结尾在词尾直接加es

class→classes, box→boxes,

dish→dishes,

peach→peaches，但 stomach

例外，其后直接加s

以o结尾的

在词尾直接加es

hero→heroes,

Negro→Negroes,

tomato→tomatoes,

potato→potatoes

在词尾直接加sradio→radios, photo→photos,

piano→pianos, kilo→kilos

以“辅音字母＋y”结尾变 y为i，再加es family→families, city→cities,

party→parties

以“元音字＋y”结尾直接加sboy→boys,

monkey→monkeys, key→keys

以f或fe 结尾

多数变 f或fe 为v后加es

shelf→shelves, wolf→wolves,

life→lives, knife→knives,

wife→wives

少数词尾加s

这些词包含在以下顺口溜

复数形式单数意义 news, physics, polities

词形变化 man→men, child→children, tooth→teeth, foot→feet,

mouse→mice, medium→media

1．动作执行者

(1)[er (or, ar)]

own→owner 物主

organize→organizer 组织者

begin→beginner 初学者

compete→competitor 竞争者

visit→visitor 参观者

administrate→administrator 管理者

beg→beggar 乞丐

lie→liar 说谎者

3．ance/ence 表示性质、状态或行为

accept→acceptance 接受
