1.阅读法
(1)略读全文,掌握主旨大意。略读时要特别注意短文的首段和末段。一般文章的主旨大意就在其中。抓
住每段中的关键词语,便可以迅速把握短文的主旨以及主要信息的分布,在答题时就心中有数了。
(2)寻读。掌握短文的主旨大意之后,应认真阅读题目,准确理解题意及其范围,带着问题到短文中寻找相
关答案。一般的事实题可直接从文中找出答案,但也要认真斟酌,过表层结构,会其深层含义。而较为深
层次的推理判断题的解答则需要建立在对全文理解的基础上。因此,做这类题切忌掺杂主观因素。
(3)复读审核。初次答完题后,要对照短文内容对所写答案通盘审核、反复斟酌、做出修正,以减少错误。
2.审题法
做题时要看清问题类型。此类题的问题中一般只有一个是一般疑问句,需要用 Yes No 来回答,其余都
需要用文中具体信息来回答。尤其需要注意的是,选择疑问句可能会以貌似一般疑问句或特殊疑问句的形式
出现,因此,要注意题干中是否有 or
3.表达法
(1)在答题时,总的原则就是:能简略回答,尽量简略回答。
(2)书写要规范。句子开头首字母要大写;正确使用标点符号;单词拼写要正确无误;单词书写要认真。
(3)出适当调整。在回答,同学们应对照题目,根据需要对句子的人称、单复数、时态、语态、词性
主谓搭配等做出适当的调整。

Today in our P.E. class, we all had to play basketball. There were only 7 girls in our P.E. class, so the class was
mostly boys. And because we were girls, they didn’t really like us. We hated basketball, and they hated us. So we
asked them if we could sit on the chairs and not play. They agreed, so we talked and laughed happily on the chairs.
Well, today, just while we girls were talking happily, the P.E. teacher came in. Angrily, he looked at all the
boys running around with the basketball. Seeing that no girls were playing, he looked at us. Shaking his head, he
blew his whistle(哨子). Everyone looked up. We were all surprised.
“Why aren’t you playing?”he asked us.
“Well, they said that we didn’t have to play, Mr. Backus!”We quickly blamed() the boys, afraid to get
into trouble.
“What? They didn’t want to play!”the boys didn’t want to get into trouble, either. Mr. Backus told us to get up
and made all of us run around the playground for 5 minutes. Later, he made us sit down and listen to him. The boys
complained, but he made them listen anyway.

“Am I ever unfair to you?”he asked. We all shook our heads. It was true. Mr. Backus was the nicest P.E.
teacher ever! He never shouted and complained. He was just nice.“Well, then I hope you are fair to me. I don’t care
whose fault(错误) it was. One person’s fault, the whole class’s fault. Understand?”
We nodded and waited. It was the only thing he ever asked us to do:to be fair. It was not much;it was not
anything. So we listened on.
“This time I catch you not doing anything, you run for 5 minutes. Next time, you run for 10 minutes. It ’s your
choice. You could play games or run. I don’t really care, but I think you care. Remember:one person’s fault, the
whole class’s fault. Got it?”
As we nodded again, he left. We could see him smile as he closed the door. Mr. Backus was just too nice. That
was why we all liked him and he certainly loved us.

Just then, Squirrel appeared. She was cold. She asked if she could build a warm home in branches(树枝).
Other trees said no because they had no leaves. But Fir Tree said yes. Squirrel ran up Fir Trees branches. Soon, she

was warm, comfortable and asleep.
Fir Tree was happy that his green leaves provided a warm home for animals in winter. He finally understood
his purpose.

Remember when you were a little child trying to learn to walk?
First, you had to learn how to balance (平衡) yourself and stand. You fell down, and then got back up. You
laughed sometimes and cried at other times. After much practice, you finally learned how to balance yourself. You
got much pleasure from this new feeling of power—you'd stand everywhere you could. It was a happy time—you
did it!
Now the next step—walking. You'd seen others do it. It didn't look that hard—just move your legs while you

If people found you walking, they cheered, "Oh, look at what the kid is doing." This encouraged you! But look

how to encourage yourself.
So, keep trying and encouraging yourself as you learned to walk if you want to succeed in doing something.
