考向一、状语从句定义

在复合句中修饰主句中的动词、形容词和副词的从句叫状语从句。

考向二、状语从句用法

状语从句根据它表达的意思不同可分为时间状语从句、原因状语从句、条件状语从句、

比较状语从句、目的状语从句、结果状语从句和让步状语从句。状语从句如果放在主

句前通常用逗号分开。

1.时间状语从句

由连接词 when、while、before、after、since、until(till) 、as soon as、as 等引

导。

例如：(1) It was raining heavily when I left school yesterday.

(2) I haven’t seen him since he left school.

(3) It is three years since his brother joined the army.

2. 条件状语从句

由连接词 if 或unless 引导。如果主句用一般将来时，从句应用一般现在时（主将从

现）。

例如：I will tell him the news if he comes back.

3．比较状语从句

由连接词 as…as、than、the…the…等引导。

例如：(1) I am as tall as he (is).

(2) The Yellow River is not as long as the Chang Jiang River.

(3) He works much harder than I (do).

(4) The more you study, the more you will know.

4．目的状语从句

由so that…或so…that 引导。

例如：He got up early so that he could catch the early bus.

5．结果状语从句

由so that…或so…that 引导。

例如：(1) I got up late, so I was late for school.

(2) It is such a hot day that none of us want to take a walk outside.

6．让步状语从句

由连接词 though 或although 引导。但要注意用了 though 就不能用 but。

例如：Though he is old, he still studies English hard.

7．地点状语从句

主要有连词 where, wherever, anywhere 引导。We’ll go wherever you say.

8．原因状语从句

主要要 because, since, for, as 等引导。

Since I haven’t got her address, I can’t write to her.

9．方式状语从句

主要由 as, like, as if, as though 来引导。Do it as he asked.

She closed her eyes as though she were so tired.

考向三、状语从句重难点

考点一：主将从现

引导词：if，as soon as，unless，not…until…

考点二：when，while，as

when: 当…时候，不限动词时态，表将来时，主将从现

while: 当…时候，进行时，延续性动词

as: 一边……一边

考点三：since

自从… 主句完成时，从句一般过去时

考点四：if，unless

if: 如果，表将来时，主将从现

unless: 除非 = if…not; 表将来时，主将从现

考点五：so…that, such…that

1. so + adj./ adv. + that 从句 (如此…以至于)

2. such + a/an + adj. + n + that 从句 (如此…以至于)

口诀：名词 such 形副 so，多少还有 so

考点六：because，for，since 和as

because: 因为 (直接理由), 不与 so 连用

since: 既然，由于(明显的或双方已知的理由)

as: 由于 (比since 的语气弱)

for: 置于主句之后,表示非直接的随后附加说明的理由或推断理由
