Unit 10 单元话题阅读理解专项练习
(2022·安徽·八年级单元测试)Anger is a kind of feeling. Many things can make you angry. When your
teacher gives you too much homework, when a friend borrow your favorite thing and then breaks it, when your
team loses an important game, you may get really angry.
Usually, your body will tell you when you are angry. For example, you breathe (呼吸) faster, your face turns
red, and you may want to break something or hit (打) someone, but sometimes you hide your anger. For example,
you are really angry, but you may keep it to yourself. The worst thing is to do nothing but keep quiet. The problem
is that if you do this, you may get a headache or your stomach may get hurt.
In fact, it’s normal for you to get angry sometimes. But anger must be let out in the right way. When you get
angry, you can talk about it with other people and share your problems with them, such as your parents, a teacher,
etc.
If you talk about anger, those bad feelings can start to go away. So you are halfway to solving a problem just
by talking to someone about it. Here are some other things you can do when you start to feel angry: talk to a good
friend; count from 1 to 100; give someone a hug (拥抱); think about good things, etc.
Remember that how you act when you are angry can make everything better or worse. It is not a good way to
run away from your anger. You should always try to solve it.

(2022·江苏·八年级阶段练习)
Everyone has his or her own worries. Different people have different ways to do with their worries. How do
you do with them? Whether your worries are big or small, you can take the following steps to deal with them.
●Try to find out what you’re worried about.
To deal with a problem, you should clearly know what the problem is. So try to find it out first.
●Think of ways to make it better.
There is always something you can do to help you feel less worried. Sitting there worrying is no fun and it
won’t help solve your problem. So just take action.
For example, grades are often a top worry for kids at school. If you’re worried about grades, ask yourself the
following questions.
☆Why are grades important? What do grades mean to me?
☆How do I get ready for class? Do I go over my notes even when there isn’t a test?
☆Do I have a quiet place to do my homework?
☆Have I tried different ways of studying?
If your worry is about a fight you had with a friend, these tips may help. Write a note to him or her, invite
him or her to a basketball game, say sorry to him or her, and so on.
●Ask for help.
If you can’t solve the problem by yourself, it is a good idea to find someone else to ask for help. They can be
your parents, friends or teachers. Remember that your parents and teachers usually have richer experiences than
you.

C.Why should I go to school? D.Do I do my homework in a quiet place?
9.According to the passage, you should ________ if you have a problem with your friend.
A.make a new friend B.not talk to him or her anymore
C.have a fight with him or her D.invite him or her to do something with you
10.The main purpose of this passage is ________.
A.to ask you something about grades B.to tell you some worries about kids

(2022·全国·八年级课时练习)It was a nice winter day. After dinner, Ms. Lee checked(查看) her e-
