现在进行时（二）
现在进行时的基本用法。
1. 表示说话时动作正在发生或进行。
They are playing basketball.
2. 表示现阶段正在做的事情。
They are working hard at their lessons th is year.
3. 有些动词的现在进行时用来表示按计划或安排要进行的动作。如：come, go, arrive, leave, start, stay 等。[
He is leaving for Beijing tomorrow.
4. 现在进行时和 always, constantly 等副词连用表示反复出现的问题，常常带有一定的感情色彩。
He is always telling lies.
5. 有些动词如：know, lie, own, have, like, love, want, hope 等，通常不用进行时。
He wants to go home.
【巧学妙记】
现在进行时态的用法：
主语在句首，am/is/are 紧随后，
动词-ing 跟着走，其他成分不可丢。
表示动作正进行，句中 now 把时间定。
【典例】—Where is Linda? I can’t find her anywhere.
—She ________ the flowers in the garden.
A. waters B. watered C. is watering

有关现在进行时的注意事项：
不能用于现在进行时的情况：
① 表示存在状况：be, remain 等。
Tom is a good student.
汤姆是个好学生。
② 表示感官的动词： hear, see, taste, sound, notice, smell，seem 等。
The food smells good.
这食物闻起来不错。
③ 表示感情、希望的动词：like, love, hate, prefer，need，want，wish，hope 等。
I want a bag and a pencilbox.
我想要一个书包和一个文具盒。
④ 表示占有、从属、构成等关系的动词： have, own，contain(包含),possess(占有)等。
I have two brothers and a sister.
我有两个哥哥和一个姐姐。
注意：当 have 构成“开会，吃饭，玩得高兴”等意思时可以用于进行时。
They are having a good time.
他们玩得很高兴。学/科.网
⑤ 表示思想、理解的动词：understand, doubt，imagine, know, recognize, believe,remember, forget, think 等。
I know what he is doing.
我知道他在做什么。
I forget what he said.
我忘记他说的是什么了。
【辨析】一般现在时与现在进行时的区别
一般现在时 现在进行时
意义 经常性和习惯性的动作或存在的状态或自然现象
等。
说话时或现阶段正在进行的动作。
