知识点①：教材原句 Mr.Cool's Clothes Store
用法 1.clothes 是衣服的总称，包括上衣、裤子等，总是以复数形式出现。作主语时，谓语
动词用复数。
Those clothes are mine.那些衣服是我的。
Jim has some nice clothes.吉姆有一些漂亮的衣服。
This suit of clothes is Jim's.这套衣服是吉姆的。
Those suits of clothes are on sale now.那些套装现在正减价销售。
The dresses in Lingling's Clothes Store are different from our clothes.玲玲服饰店里的连衣裙和
我们的衣服不同。
2.clothes 不能直接与基数词连用，但可以用 these,those,some 等词修饰；表示“一套衣服”
用 a suit of clothes,谓语动词应和 suit 在单复数形式上保持一致。
辨析 clothes,clothing
clothes 指各种衣服的总称，包括上衣、裤子等，是复数名词，做主语时，谓语动词用复数
形式。
clothing 为衣服的总称，是不可数名词，做主语时，谓语动词用单数形式。
clothes 衣服 指各种衣服，作主语时，谓语动词用复数。
clothing 衣服 为衣物总称，是集合名词，无复数形式，作主语时，谓语动词用单数。

知识点②：sale 的用法
（1）作为名词，意为“卖；出售”。常用于：
①on sale,意为“正在出售；降价出售；甩卖”。
The shoes in that shop are on sale now. 那家店里的鞋正在降价出售。
②for sale,意为“待售”。
The new kind of mobile phone is for sale. 这款新手机正在待售中。
not for sale 非卖品
have a sale 进行减价销售
（2）其动词为 sell,意为“卖”。
(1) sell sth.出售某物。
►I will sell my computer.
我要卖掉我的电脑。
(2) (sth.) sell at/for(某物) 以……的价格出售；售价是……
►This shirt sells for/at six dollars.
这件衬衫售价六美元。
