【精讲 语法】动词的过去时的特殊疑问句
前面我们学习了一般过去时的肯定、否定与一般疑问句的表达方式，
但如果要问别人以前做了什么、到过哪里、事情发生的时间等时，又该如何表达呢？
此时，我们就要用一般过去时的特殊疑问句形式。
例：
—When was the meeting yesterday ? 昨天什么时候开的会？
—It was at 4:00 pm. 下午 4点。
—Where did you go last night ? 你昨晚去了哪里？
—I went to Tom’s home. 我去汤姆家了。
由例句可见，一般过去时的特殊疑问句形式与一般现在时的特殊疑问句形式很相似，
只是助动词或 be 动词改变而已。
因此，一般过去时的特殊疑问句结构为:
“特殊疑问词+ did+主语+动词原形+其他?”或者“特殊疑问词+was/were+主语+其他？”
即：特殊疑问句=特殊疑问词+一般疑问句句式。
注意：必须注意助动词或 be 动词的时态和动词的还原。
常见疑问词：
what---Activity or thing (对行为和事物提问)。
--- What were you talking about then ? 你们那时在谈什么？
--- We were talking about our family. 我们在谈论我们的家庭情况。
--- What did you see in Beijing ? 你在北京看到了什么？
--- The Tian’anmen Square. 天安门广场。
who---Person (对人提问)
--- “Who will visit you tomorrow ?” “明天谁来看你？”
--- “My father.” “我爸爸。”
--- Who was with you in Los Angeles ? 在洛杉矶你和谁在一起？
--- My parents. 我的父母。
when---Time (对时间提问)
--- “When will you finish your homework ?” “你什么时候能完成作业？”
--- “Tomorrow.” “明天。”
where---Place (对地点提问)
--- Where did you go last Sunday ? 上周日你去哪了？
--- Shanghai. 去了上海。
why---Reason (对原因提问)
--- “Why are you late ?” “你为什么迟到？”
--- “Because I missed the bus.” “因为我没赶上公共汽车。”
how---Manner (对方式提问)
--- How did you go to Shanghai ? 你怎么去的上海？
--- I went there by highway. 我乘高铁去。
how long --- Degree (多久，多长)
--- How long did it take to get there ? 你花了多长时间到达那儿？
--- About nine hours. 大概花了 9小时。
--- How long did you stay in Shanghai ? 你在上海呆了多久？
--- I stayed there for 5 days. 我在那儿呆了五天。
【典例】—________ is it from Green Train Station to the bank?
—About 20 kilometers away.
A．How much B．How long C．How far D．How many
【答案】C
【详解】句意：——从格林火车站到银行有多远？——大约 20 公里。考查特殊疑问句。How much 多少钱；
能力拓展

How long 多长时间；How far 多远；How many 多少。根据回答“About 20 kilometers away.”可知，问句是
对距离的询问，用 How far 引导的特殊疑问句。故选 C。
按要求改写下列句子。
1.He ate some fish for dinner. (改为否定句)
________________________________________________________________
2.She usually listens to music in the evening. (用last night 改写句子)
________________________________________________________________
3.Did you do some sightseeing in Guilin?（作否定回答）
________________________________________________________________
4.During my last holiday, I did lots of shopping. (就划线部分提问)
________________________________________________________________
5.We visited some places in Greece. (就划线部分提问)
________________________________________________________________
【答案】
1.He didn’t eat any fish for dinner. 2.She listened to music last night.
3.No, we didn’t./No, I didn’t. 4.When did you do lots of shopping?
5.What did you do in Greece?
